Jill K. Gill is an interdisciplinary 20th century Americanist. She received her B.A. in American Studies from Whitworth College (1986) and her M.A. (1988) and Ph.D. (1996) in American Civilization from the University of Pennsylvania. As a historian with an interdisciplinary background and approach, she integrates anthropology, political science, religion, philosophy and literature into her study and teaching of America's past. Gill is also the department's graduate director.
Assistant Professor of Counselor Education, Dr. Cutler is a National Certified Counselor. He received his PhD from the University of South Dakota in Vermillion, and his Masters of Science in Counseling from Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota. He is an active member of the American Counseling Association, the Association of Counselor Education and Supervision, and the Idaho Counseling Association. Dr. Cutlerﾒs research interests include trauma and addiction among Peoples of Color, multicultural approaches to counseling, and outcome based therapies.

Amy has worked for the Idaho Nonprofit Development Center, Boise State University Women's Center and Boise Weekly, among others.

The mission of the Boise State MLK Human Rights Committee is to celebrate the teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and other civil rights leaders. The MLK Human Rights Committee endures to provide The Boise State University campus with a series of advocacy, awareness, and educational activities for the Boise State community in an effort to promote civility and address the current needs of the community in accordance with the teachings of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. The goals of the Martin Luther King Jr. / Human Rights Celebration Committee include providing BSU students, the community of Boise, and the State of Idaho with programs involving speakers, workshops, exhibits, and performances involving the academic, artistic, and experiential knowledge concerning the racist features of American society. The result will be, and has been, a more educated public in Idaho concerning issues of diversity and multiculturalism. However, the committee believes that education must be accompanied by social activism in celebration of the Martin Luther King Jr. vision. This has led to partnerships with campus and community human rights organizations in efforts to enhance racial tolerance in Idaho.

Locally, the Treasure Valley Branch was originally established 85 years ago to follow through on the promise of equal rights for all minority communities in Idaho. The branch was reformed in 1965 and has been actively fighting civil rights issues ever since. Today, our branch is proud to carry on the goals and objectives of the National Office for all citizens of Idaho.
Nicole serves in the seat vacated by Representative Ken Robison, a longtime tax policy expert and low income advocate. As a legislator, Nicole is proud to use her skills, experience and hard work to serve as a leader, impacting legislative issues on behalf of her many neighbors and community members in District 19.
Nicole lives with her partner, Carol Growhoski, her dog, Pinza, and her cat, Olive, in a 100-year-old home in Boise's North End.
